I practically grew up at this local joint that recently closed down. The atmosphere was so different between the basement bar and the upstairs dining area, and the staff always made you feel at home. I'm really bummed out about it. The Guard's burger was hands down the best thing ever. You will be missed!

I was only customer. A white rude young waitress.Told me if I want more than three napkins I had to pay extra for it. Told me if I wanted more than 2 crackers. I had to pay extra for it. Not do it. She would not volunteer to do her job. I had to ask her to do it. She would not volunteer to write down order,bring napkins,wait on me,write down order,bring menu, food,drink,bill,silverware,napkns,drinking glasses,bill,come back to table to see if I needed anything. Rush to get rid of me. She would bring me food and drink and bill. Then she would try to run away to talk to co-workers. Told me not want to write down order. I raised my voice at her. She gave me nasty look,no tip
