The occasion was a small celebration. I was taken there and as soon as was seated, the lovely waitress asked which wine I wanted. Me, liking Merlot, asked for a glass. The owner came over with a large rounded glass with the wine swirling. I knew this was the way it was to be served. Having a glass of wine with dinner is something I am accustomed to but Giovanni knew how to do it. He served it swirling for the flavor to show itself. That touch was so different from the many other places I have dineds. The dinner was excellent. I plan on dining there soon again.
