Last year, we had the chance to try El Ranchero food at a friend b-day party he held at his house. The food was delicious and soon after we became ourselves regulars at El Ranchero. We love the food, the service and the atmosphere. We highly recommend this restaurant to those who truely know and appreciate Mexican food. However, If you wish to have a quite dinner atmosphere avoid Tuesdays and Thursdays as they are for beer & taco lovers ($1 beer & $1 tacos) and the restaurant gets kind of noisy. Overall, definitely try their food. Way to go El Ranchero!

One of the worst restaurant's I have ever been to. If you read other reviews you will probably hear the same old things, they are all true...cold chips, terrible service, and the lamest excuse for Mexican food I have ever seen. I lived in Mexico and Mexican dogs would not eat this stuff. All kidding aside their ground beef has the consistency of dog food. Also it seems like they add spinach to most anything they can. Is Popeye a regular customer?

The restaraunt was cute and the food was decent...but the service was absolutely horrible. They told us to seat ourselves and we sat there for at least 15 minutes before someone from the bar came over and plopped some chips and salsa down in front of us without saying a word. It was at least another 15 minutes before someone came over to take our drink and food orders. It wasn't crowded...but apparently there is only one waitress serving at least 20 inside and outside tables. It was probably another half hour before our food came and while it was exactly what we ordered, it wasn't great and lacked a lot of flavor. There were additional long waits to get the check, and to get boxes for our leftovers. After asking for boxes 3 times within a half hour we were finally told that the lone waitress was sent out to get more boxes because they had run out. We won't be going back.
