This restaurant is so very much better now that it is under new management. I used to love their food but started boycotting because of the terribly rude service staff and insane wait times. The new owners know what they're doing. They have hired far more personable people as wait staff and expanded the happy hour offerings. I now go once a week for the sushi/appetizer happy hour.

Had unbelievably rude service at the Arlington branch of this restaurant. Waitress yelled at us as we sat down and then threw the menus on the table. Told the manager, but he was more or less indifferent. Would rather spend our money elsewhere.

Wonderful! wonderful! Only good things to say about this Thai restaurant near Ballston Metro stop.

Good food, good service great decor. I love the wide rice noodle dish #39 on the menu with three (3) hot peppers (spicy but not overly spicy) . Also, try the whole fish (Rockfish or Red Snapper) in the blackbean-ginger sauce, out of this world good stuff! Love the Thai beer too!

A perpetual favorite restaurant away from the downtown DC hustle and bustle...in Spring or Summer sit outside on the patio!!!!!!!!!

I am alergic to fish sauce--and everytime I order my dishes without fish sauce, they add it anyway. I was able to eat the food in Thailand--they typically serve the fish sauce on the side with the meal---but not at Tara Thai. Bangkok 54 will honor your request.

Excellent thai food, funky décor. We love this place - everything I've ever order is very good. Prices are better than the food.
