Andy's of DC, owned and operated by Chinese Asians. This is the best place to go to for your money. The sandwiches, subs, lunch, and dinner meals are fantastic. If you love a Philadelphia Deli Sub sandwich, theirs will fill you up. Their ice tea is delicious, and if you wish, it can be mixed with lemonade. Their seafood is also very good.

So, if you are hungry, this is the place to go. There is "on property" parking, right in front of Andy's, and you can get gas, cigarettes, food, potato chips, even aspirin, or more, from the neighborhood store next to it.

The good thing about Andy's is it is opened late every night, and you can call and put your order in so you can pick it up and ride out.

The drive up Georgia Avenue, from Andy's to the Beltway is a good 25 to 30 minutes, depending on the traffic. Drive straight up Georgia Avenue (North), then hit the Beltway on the right hand side about 3 or 4 minutes after you have passed over Colesville Road (Rt. 29). You also can make a right turn at Georgia Avenue, and take the Beltway there as well, about a three minute drive on Colesville Road heading North. Both exits to the Beltway, will either take you to Maryland or Virginia, depending on which way you are heading on the Beltway.

Special Note: The neighborhood where Andy's is located, is filled with families, and children. There are a lot of people that just hand out there, just trying to make a dollar from people needing gas or information. If you are the timid type, I would recommend that you go there during the day, when problems are less frequent to happen.

Once you have tried Andy's menu, especially there subs, and sandwiches, you will want to come back. You will be bragging to your friends and acquaintances for many years to come.
