The old grocery store vibe at R.A. Pickens and Son Country Store and Restaurant instantly transports you to a simpler time, with their daily lunch specials and incredible homemade burgers that are just divine. Every time I visit, I savor the hearty meals crafted from local ingredients and enjoy the warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like home.

Visited Pickens on a press tour last October and loved the plate dinners. I had the chicken = wonderful! A great place to stop for a meal.
