To those patrons who had commented favorably, you guys were very lucky that you were treated well; unfortunately, to us, our visit was unimaginable. The waitress made us feel that we were not welcome at Libretto’s Pizzeria Italian Kitchen. As we were placing our orders, the waitress was very condescending to us especially to me as I was the one that did the ordering of the food. She was making fun at my foreign “accent”. I was so humiliated and feel discriminated because I was/were Asian(s). However, the maltreatment did not stop there; when the waitress delivered the pizzas to our table, we were shocked to see that the pizzas were “burned” (see pictures). So we complained to the waitress that the pizzas were burned and her reply was “I did not cook the pizza”. What a reply? Since we were so hungry, we decided to try a little bit pizza, but eventually decided to stop eating the pizzas because the food was bitter. By the way, we also showed the pizzas to the waitress male co-worker, which I suspect the man was a cook. According to the cook, that is how the “Sicilian Pizza is cooked” crunchy. So I called the waitress and told her that we feel discriminated and therefore we want to leave. Upon telling her that we want to leave because of the maltreatment that we suffered from them, she then offered us a new pizza; however, we decided to leave.
By the way, in case everyone is wondering if there was any customer’s at the time we were in the restaurant; unfortunately, there was no one inside the restaurant before and after we left, except the waitress and the cook.
“LIBRETTO’S PIZZERIA ITALIAN KITCHEN” only caters to few people, but not to all.
