With the temperature soaring to 102 degrees today in the St. Louis Metro East, I kicked off my afternoon with a visit to Dear Diva Desserts, a beloved bakery in town, to pick up treat boxes for a virtual picnic I was organizing for 40 households. The owners went above and beyond, creating delicious treats that brought smiles to everyone's faces as I made my deliveries around town. Dear Diva Desserts truly adds a special touch to any occasion with their homemade goodies and exceptional service - a gem worth discovering in our small town.

Since I tasted the Hummingbird Cake at my cousins wedding shower a few years ago. This is one, maybe the only cake I love. Plus the icing is so unique n so delicious. While I was in Columbia, IL. one morning after work, with my Aunt having breakfast, it was a must that I stop n get a Hummingbird cupcake.

My friend got their wedding cake from here. It was the very best tasting wedding cake I ever had. Actually it was the best cake I ever had. Each tier of the cake was a different flavor. We all had to get three pieces of cake so we could taste them all.
