Visited today with my son because he likes the nachos. Food was decent and the service was good. However, I ordered a prickly pear margarita and requested Patron instead of the house tequila. Of course I expected an up charge, and had 2 drinks. The drinks were ok, but there was a ton of ice. When I got my bill, I was shocked to see that there was a charge for the regular price of the house drink ($11) and an $11 additional charge for the Patron. I go to upscale restaurants all the time with unique and delicious cocktails with premium liquor, and am no stranger to a $20-25 drink. Usually, an up charge is added ($5-6 added has been my experience), not the full cost of a single shot. I basically paid for 4 drinks and only had 2. If they are going to gouge, they should at least notify their customers that they're being charged for an additional shot. I paid $11 dollars for prickly pear flavor on ice - twice!! I feel like I was tricked, and if they want people to continue to patronize their restaurant, they have to do better. Won't be returning any time soon.
