The atmosphere inside may not be the most visually appealing based on some reviews, but personally, I find it cozy and enjoyable, especially for casual outings or family meals. The wide array of food options ensures there's something for everyone, and I've never experienced long wait times. Despite a few minor drawbacks like sticky floors, the friendly staff and satisfying meals make it a worthwhile dining choice that I'll continue to frequent. Timing your visit to avoid peak hours can result in a more enjoyable dining experience, as the food quality tends to be better when the restaurant is not as crowded.

All of a sudden, after many years eating at Chen's, we encounter today(4-3-24) 1. Loud Mexican/mariachi music in the restaurant----in a Chinese restaurant? The beef dishes were tough, low-grade beef and most dishes were rather bland and not flavorful as usual. The staff were uncommunicative and didn't seem to care that you were eating there or not or how everything was. Definitely a change from years past---which is what we will probably do if this "service" continues. Saginaw has alot of restaurants.

We've enjoyed lunch a dozen times in a few years. Good selection, great grill options, a nice place to sample your favorites.

I love the fish, sesame chicken, bbq ribs and the salad and dessert bar

Food is always good. I have been visiting for roughly 3 years.

Since Covid a lot as change and employees now does the serving at the buffet.

Make sure when you visit to watch these people because they are now changing their gloves. They would collect dirty dishes, clean and wipe the tables, answer the phone, sweep the floor and then to the buffet area to serve your food.

When I ask the waitress/server to change her gloves she did, but after that it was all attitude.
