The atmosphere at 1839 has shifted since my last visit, with the service lacking the polish I once appreciated. Despite the well-loved burgers and a robust beer selection, the nachos fell flat, drenched in cheese and served alongside our entrees instead of before, which disrupted the flow of our meal. Yet, the cozy patio beckons for a return, where I can savor a delicious burger while enjoying the company of friends, hoping for an improved experience next time.

While my recent visit to 1839 was not as satisfying as previous experiences, the friendly service from our server, Eva, was a bright spot despite some minor mishaps with the timing of our food and drinks. The quality of the nachos fell short this time, but the burgers were consistently delicious and customizable, making it a decent option for a casual meal with good beer and service.
