Walking into HomeGrown felt like stepping into a cozy kitchen of an old friend, where Southern hospitality shines through friendly and attentive service. The buttermilk fried chicken with mushroom gravy and cheesy grits was incredibly flavorful and comforting, clearly made with care and fresh, local ingredients. Despite the busy atmosphere and quirky seating, every dish I tried-from shrimp and grits to trout cakes-was delicious and left me eager to return and explore more of their diverse menu.
