Willie Mae's is our favorite restaurant in Springfield. Maybe it is very smart of Willie Mae's owners to only be open for very restricted hours----I find that I will have a Willie Mae's craving at the times when their fabulous food is simply not available. I can smoke a mean pork butt, but your food (& OH....how I hate to admit this....) puts mine to shame. The restaurant has a very friendly, quaint & country atmosphere----making folks feel welcome. Portions are very!! generous.....& I can get several meals out of my lunch. Selfishly, I really wish that your hours made your food available to us during the evenings & weekends----but I understand that limited hours help your food quality remain what it is----& hopefully you guys will never burn out---& stay open for ever :0 We shall see you----Willie Mae's----ASAP ----& thank you for being---& remaining ---well.....You :0
