We found the food and the price to be excellent so, for over a year we have made the drive from Danville to Martinsville just to dine at the Sirloin House. We are there every week end for breakfast and most days for lunch. Lately the lunch buffet has left a lot to be desired. Monday the chicken livers were burned almost black. Tuesday there was no doubt that the pinto beans were going bad.....not only could you taste it you could smell it. None of the vegetables had any salt. I can live with that you can always add salt. Something had been added to the beef stew making it so acid it burned the tongue. Wednesday I tried the pinto beans again, because they are usually good. They had that same spoiled taste and they has been burned to the bottom of the pan. The mashed potatoes were so salty neither my husband or I could eat them. The corn had been severally over cooked. We plan to wait awhile before returning..

We had breakfast at the Sirloin House in Martinsville Sunday, lunch their Monday and had lunch there again today. I'm happy to say they the food was very good. We were very pleased with the food and the service.

Had a fantastic dinner with friends tonight. My fried oysters were the very best I have ever had. Large, fried perfectly, and a large serving. My husband's sirloin tips was also delicious. A wonderful meal. Worth driving from Roanoke for dinner.

Only eaten here once for breakfast we thought it was great we didn't get the buffet just plate off menu, great price 3.10 a plate eggs, bacon, bread. Great service had several waitress . We want to go back and try dinner heard it was good.

Wonderful restaurant! Great food selection, daily specials, fast, friendly service! AND good prices. Couldn't ask for more! Will visit again.
