Food was very bland. There were three of us and none of us ate our food, each of us having different things so it wasn't just a certain dish. Very disappointed.

I couldn't wait to go to Sclavis with the family! It was 4:10 on a Friday, we were the 2nd customers seated. (The first was a young man and his 1 yr old) The waitress was pleasant but not very enthusiastic. We ordered wine and it was served in a jelly jar. When I ordered my second glass I politely asked for it in a wine glass. The food took 40 minutes to be served. That wouldn't have been a problem if the food was hot, but it was barely warm. I mentioned it to the waitress and she offered to heat it up. I declined. ( If I wanted microwaved pasta I could have stayed home and had leftovers.) The 5 of us all ordered different menu items. 4 of the 5 were bland. Could have been due to the lack of sauce and the temperature. We asked for tomatoes to be added to one of the sauces- the waitress brought out a small bowl of sliced grape/cherry tomatoes 5 minutes after the pasta dish was served. I didn't realize we needed to tell them to actually cook them into the sauce. The Alfredo was obviously from a jar and had to be a generic brand. No garlic or parmesan flavor, just a mild salty white sauce. The meatballs were just that. A bland dry meatball. If you want a delicious meatball go to the Miller Hill Mall and have one at Sbarro. The one item that was really good was the Italian sausage. But I should have had the waitress microwave it. After reading the rave reviews on this place, I really expected better.

Quality of service was very poor. The food was nothing special for the amount they charge. limited bar choices. One member of our group didn't get their meal until the rest had finished theirs. I would not return nor would I recommend to anyone.

Apps, menu items and specials have been great every time. Dined and drank with larger groups and no problems ever. I highly recommend Sclavi's!
