The last time I visited Hefner, I was excited to return and experience it again now that I'm back in the area. The service was attentive, although our orders took a bit longer than expected, but the chips and watermelon salsa helped pass the time. The pulled pork had a nice kick from the chipotle in the BBQ sauce, and the fries were delicious. My companions enjoyed the flavored pickle slices that accompanied our sandwiches, and we couldn't resist trying three different desserts to share. Chatting with the young woman who made the desserts, including the key lime pie, was a cool experience.
