For a 90th birthday, we enjoyed a mah jong cake that was perfectly suited to Asian tastes-not too sweet-and sampled an impressive array of freshly baked Asian and French-style pastries like mango vanilla cake, walnut cream coffee pastry, soft scallion buns, moist yellow cake, pineapple cake, matcha salted egg yolk pastry, curry dumplings, and handmade mooncakes, all made on premises with high-quality ingredients, though prices have risen and service can be somewhat reserved, yet the delicious flavors and authentic experience made it well worth the visit.

The mah jong cake for a 90th birthday was delicious, perfectly tailored for Asian tastes without being overly sweet. I was pleasantly surprised by the array of pastries, from the moist yellow cake to the intriguing matcha salted egg yolk pastry, and the overall experience, despite limited seating and a somewhat brusque staff, made me eager to return.
