I've cherished my visits to Top Hat for years, where the friendly staff, especially Rebecca and Michael, make every meal feel special. The BBQ is fantastic, reminiscent of home-cooked flavors, and I always leave with a smile, especially after enjoying their fried green tomatoes and a delicious BBQ baked potato.

I've always enjoyed the delicious food and friendly service at Top Hat in Hayden. The BBQ sandwiches and loaded baked potatoes are my go-to favorites, and the fried peach pie for dessert is a must-try! The staff is always welcoming and the atmosphere has that classic country charm that keeps me coming back for more.

The Top Hat Barbeque Restaurant has been in business for more than 50 years. It has the best barbeque around, with a not-too-sweet tomato based sauce. Their coleslaw is different and really delicious. The best thing on their menu, though, is the whole fried catfish. In our travels to other states, we have often ordered whole fried catfish but none have measured up to the flavor and preparation that theTop Hat has. It is not a really fancy place but its decor has recently been updated, making it a place of comfort and pure enjoyment. Their prices are very reasonable and the service is great. Try it --- I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Their Bar BQ plates was not worth eating,Bar B Q sause was runnie and the fires was burnt and the beans was blame.Their salads was good and so was the tea.

We were there on Sunday June 13, we had a wait of about 20 minutes, which isn't so bad, but there were empty tables everywhere in all parts of building, they took a party of three back and another party of three entered and stood where the other party had been , but the hostess told them they couldn't stand there, the lady said you just had people standing here, don't know what the hostess had against this party but they voiced their opinion and were correct in it and didn't move until seating became available, Even when we got seated there were empty tables everywhere in the back room, we had about a 15 min. wait before we got to order then another 20 min before getting our food which was cold, we have been coming there for years but with the rude hostess , the nasty apprearance of the whole place, and terrible service you have lost our business, and I'm sure others feel the same as us, do something now before the crew working there now ruins your business.

visited on friday june 4th, no whole catfish, catfish fillets were very thin and not worth over $4 per fillet.

We had been there before, the barbecue was excellent.

Best bbq restaurant around. Been eating here for 25 years. I saw a review about bldg was old and needed to be replaced and that is ridiculous. The great experience to me is the decor. Find you a place with a brand new bldg if this place was bad to you, but leave Top Hat as it is. Thanks.

Great area. Great food. Never had that kind of BBQ sauce before. It was different and good.

Very disappointed when I purchased catfish platter, was no hushpuppies! Other than that always awesome food! Very sad!
