We swung by on our way back to Texas and were pleasantly surprised by the fast, friendly service and delicious fried catfish with perfectly cooked sides. The staff worked hard but stayed cheerful, and everything from the hush puppies to the sweet tea hit the spot, making me come back two days in a row.

I recently visited a restaurant on my way back to Texas and was pleasantly surprised by the fast service and friendly waitress. The catfish, baked potato, fries, okra, and hush puppies were all delicious and cooked to perfection. Despite initial hesitation based on ratings, I found the experience to be delightful, and I would definitely recommend the Catfish Cabin to others looking for a great meal and friendly service.

THE BEST CATFISH YOU WILL EVER PUT IN YOUR MOUTH!!! The hushpuppies (which, by the way, come complimentary in a basket, all-you-want) are the BEST. French fries are delicious, my wife says the baked potatoes are excellent. The sweet tea is VERY good. Catfish Cabin II is an all-around good dining experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great and the wait staff is top-notch. If you are ever in Athens, AL and like catfish you'd be smart to eat here.
