The Old CookStove serves up homemade, stick-to-your-ribs comfort food that reminds me of Sunday dinners at grandma's house, with favorites like ham, meatloaf, creamed corn, fried green tomatoes, and that unbeatable sweet potato casserole topped with marshmallows. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, filled with families and friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel right at home, and even with the occasional busy night, it's well worth the drive out here for the delicious food and down-home hospitality.

The buffet was an incredible experience filled with homemade dishes that reminded me of my childhood meals, especially the sweet potato casserole and creamed corn. Despite a few items running low during our visit, the friendly atmosphere and delicious food have me eager to return for more.

First time there the atmosphere is awesome. Country setting so soothing. Christian music playing, young ladies were singing hymns . ALL the food was FANTASTIC!! Good ole home cooking. They had great service too. Plenty of homemade goodies, from baked bread, quilts to other made items for sale also. Had a small wait but SO worth it. We will Definitely be going again!

I'm telling you....this is the best country food in any restaurant I have ever been to. To bad they are only open 2 days a week.
