I always enjoy the pimento cheese sandwich and chips at this diner with a 1950's vibe that's usually bustling with patrons. The outstanding service and traditional food choices reflect the charm of a small university town. My family has been patrons of this establishment since the 1960s, and my dad particularly raves about their famous orange pineapple ice cream.

I was very upset today when I asked for a double scoop of icecream and the girl was raking the icecream off with her BARE HAND. Yes -bare hand and pushing the icecream down in the cup with her fingers. As I was watching appalled I asked her "please do not touch the icecream with your hand" She acted like it offended her and I am sorry to call her out like that but if she did that as I watch there is no telling what kind of germs she is spreading to other people. I paid for my icecream and walked outside and trashed it. Can not afford to get sick these days.
