Growing up around here, China Palace has always been a favorite for fresh, flavorful Chinese food with generous portions and great prices. The steamed dumplings, egg rolls (which are more like spring rolls), and dishes like Kung Pao Chicken or Happy Family really stand out, and the service is friendly every time. Even though it looks a bit off the beaten path and the fried rice is plain without extras, the food quality and value keep me coming back again and again.

Recently, I tried the sesame chicken and the Chicken with Broccoli and Fried Rice from here for the first time. The fried rice was plain, without any veggies or meat, but the sesame chicken was really good! Despite the secluded location off of MLK Blvd., the food and service were excellent. I will definitely be returning to try more dishes in the future.
