I've tried all the rest and this place is the best hands down. Recipes handed down through the generations are being prepared daily. From perfectly smoked meat to moms buttermilk pie you can't miss 😋

If you are in the Fort Benning/Columbus Georgia area and you are looking for great barbecue, Ft. Mitchell BBQ House can't be beat. The rustic atmosphere is typical for a roadside, family-owned establishment of the area, but it's easy to look past it once you try the moist, full-flavored, site-prepared chopped pork barbecue. I make it a point to visit at least once per month as a treat.
