The exterior may appear unassuming, but the food inside is quite impressive. The lunch buffet during the week is enjoyable, and the service is friendly, making it a pleasant experience overall.

The food at Ming's may not catch your eye at first, but trust me, it's really good. My go-to is the lunch buffet on weekdays, and the takeout on weekends has never disappointed. The staff is friendly, and the whole experience makes you feel right at home.

I'm not sure why they only have 3 stars, but I've eaten here for years, and I'd say it's pretty good overall. The food is usually hot and delicious, and the service is usually fast. They're a little on the pricey side, but nothing absurd for good Chinese food. They started using a thinner red sauce a few years ago, which is really my only complaint. There's better Chinese food in the Birmingham area, but Ming's is very good, too!
