My wife and I have been going to Pings Restaurant on Rocky Ridge in Vestavia over a year every Sunday after church. We always go through the buffet line and order the same drinks. We went this Sunday for father's day and when we went to pay for our meal I noticed that we were charged $3.00 more. I ask the owner had they gone up on their prices and she said it was because today was father's day. There was no signs warning of this price increase and I notice that when I paid cash for our meal she did not ring up the amount in the register. I didn't get a receipt. I had noticed this action being done before but didn't think much of it until today. There was local taxes added to the amount and the sale, I'm sure went unreported. This is a violation that need to be reported to the authorities.
