This long-standing restaurant has been a fixture in Gurley for decades, serving up traditional Texmex cuisine that locals adore. The service is friendly and efficient, reflecting the ownership's deep roots in the community. Despite the mild salsa, it's a solid choice for a quality meal in the heart of Jackson County, Alabama.

I'm not a connoisseur of Mexican food. To me all Mexican food tastes the same. My spouse, and all my friends, say El Coyote's food is great but to me it is typical Mexican food. But....I have to say that El Coyote has the best (and largest) margaritas in Madison County.
