My experience was in 1971 when my parents (who came to visit me from Indiana) and I chose to eat at El Palacio every time we had a chance. At that time the food was delicious even though we weren't normally a fan of Mexican food. At that time, when you went through the front doors you had your choice of either eating at the buffet (to the right, which we always chose) or to have a sit down dinner and order from the menu. Sad to see it has closed as I still have fond memories of that place.

The most consistent food and great taste for yrs, always expect the REAL mexican food to be the best around Alabama and Northern Tennessee
