Homer local here, food is ok most times good for a quick grab. Fritz creek food was better several years ago. We avoid this restaurant for the lack of the kitchens customer service. Kitchen and owner make it always seem like a burden when you order food. Ordering a pizza at 4:30pm they make it very clear they close at 6pm. Almost acting like they don't want you to order your pizza as they have the kitchen cleaned already.

Sounds like someone had a bad day and gave a one star review. I have always find the food to be of very good quality, especially the tomales and deserts. It's worth the drive and the atmosphere is very warm and friendly.

A once great place has turned into a former shadow of itself. Seeing as how all the good cooks left, the sandwiches there are made simply put, horribly. Don't eat here, go anywhere else.
