While it's on the pricier side, it's worth the visit for a quality dining experience in the area. The fried Brussels sprouts make for a fantastic starter, and the daily specials often feature a delicious fish option; plus, the views are absolutely stunning.

The Alpenglow Restaurant is a great place to dine in the Nenana River Valley of the National park. The staff was very accommodating and professional, with polished service. My girlfriend and I traveled up to Denali National Park, Alaska at the end of last year, and had a terrific stay with 2 wonderful meals at the Grande Denali Lodge and Alpenglow Restaurant. Breakfast was excellent, with multiple ways to either "grab and go," or sit down. Chef Ebel's dinner presentations were very put together, and the food flavor was second to none in the area. We had a bottle of California Cabernet recommended by the server and it was fantastic, and complimented the meal perfectly. I was told by management that a complete remodel of the place was going to happen for the kick off for the 2014 season up there, so I am sure it will be even better the next time around. If you want a great place to soak up a wilderness view from a hotel in the area, mixed in with professional staff, and a terrific dining experience to start and end your day with, then the Grande Denali Lodge comes highly recommended from us. We will definitely be staying here again when we make our annual return trip up to Denali in 2014.
