I love Zak's. It's me and my mom's favorite spot in Wrangell. The French dip is incredible, and my daughter always enjoys a slice of their homemade cheesecake, which is a generous portion that we share. The burgers are made with Angus beef and the buns are freshly baked by James. When I visited, the atmosphere was lively and filled with laughter, and Katherine, one of the owners, warmly greeted me with a smile. She recommended the shrimp dish, and it truly was the best fried shrimp I've ever had - sweet, tender, succulent, perfectly breaded, and not greasy. The seafood is all fresh, and the quality exceeded my expectations. For a cozy dining option in downtown Wrangell, Zak's is definitely a great choice with a variety of delicious dishes.
