We had the best repeat experience at Jalapenos!! The food is always excellent, service was awesome, and our party was seated promptly. The decor in the place is great too! Makes you feel like you're getting the best Mexican experience.

My husband and I are new to the area, from Texas, and was craving Mexican food and thought we'd give Jelapeno's a try from seeing the commercial on TV. We tried recently to have dinner at your restaurant in Eagle River, but was unable to because of the TERRIBLE customer service we received, which was NONE!!! We walked in the door and stood at the front waiting for the hostess or someone to greet/seat us and to our surprise NO ONE even acknowledged that we were there. As far as I can tell, I don't think we are INVISIBLE, but apparently so because again NO ONE even made an attempt to move to the front door in our direction. I'm SHOCKED that you have 2 establishments, especially if you're going to treat your customers this way. We took our business to Chepo's instead and was IMMEDIATELY greeted, seated, and served with the ULTIMATE Customer Service and ENTHUSIASM!!!

The food was excellent, the staff was wonderful (especially Tony), and the decor was amazing! I loved the hand carved and painted tables, chairs and booths. I will definitely be dining here again on my next visit to Alaska. Thanks for a great memory!
