I just ordered $97 of fish and chips and the guy on the phone was incredibly rude. I made the mistake of saying, "yeah, how much is it." when he asked, "that all?" He hung up on me before I even had a chance to Finish my sentence. Through the entire exchange he was short and impatient to the point that the guy next to me said, "that guy was hella rude." Nothing will ever stop me from ordering from Sandbar but this was enough to get me to write a review. If I could write the food it would be five stars but that service brought it down to three

This place was recommended by a local with the statement "this is the only place I buy seafood." The halibut is super. It's not a show place, order at counter, self serve beverage, bus your own table. The locals all know about this place. Prices are reasonable for Juneau and not a tourist trap, YET. Home made tarter sauce.

THEY USED TO BE the best place in Juneau. But they screwed our order up and wouldn't fix it. Said too bad. Will not order there ever again. BAD SERVICE. I will pay more for good service ANYDAY

The best halibut and chips in town. Very fresh, cooked just right. Tartar sauce is to die for. Chicken Bleu is yummy.....basically everything you order is awesome! Enjoy!
