Monica and Ms. Shirley serve up some of the most comforting Southern soul food I've ever tasted, from the creamy macaroni and cheese to the perfectly fried catfish and the sweet banana pudding that finishes the meal just right. Despite the humble exterior, the warm hospitality and flavorful dishes made me feel like I was enjoying a home-cooked feast at a beloved relative's house.
