First time I have ever paid six dollars and fifty cents for a small milk shake. Not a shake but machine made ice cream at that. Bad vibes of mt. Ida with rip off place.

Eaten here many times. Best place in Mt. Ida to eat. The staff always friendly.
Everything is cooked fresh. Highly recommend the French Dip.

Update....I went on 6/24 still the same b.s. Frozen Food except now You pay more. Lmao I actually think they boil the burger meat which is deff frozen patties. Or its thrown on the grill that boils it because it had no char and looked boiled meat. Meaning it cooked in its water juices and since its not good hamburger probably filled with water solution for flavoring and preservatives before frozen. I order 2 Cheeseburger meals, 1 catfish dinner, 2 chicken strip dinners, 1 Philly and cheese and a fried chicken sandwich meal. 2 different orders because Kids Was not hungry and I had to come after my wife and her friend (she got a milk shake and said it was (GOOOOD) Every single Item was frozen food. Except the Toast. The coleslaw Was goood. Other than that..... Do Not Eat here. Mt. Ida cafe is a little better they have some food that's not prefab frozen. What happen to back in the day when Places like this would have burgers with melting cheese.... OH yeah the cheese is so low grade it doesn't melt. It gets cheese Soggy. The Fries are awful with some type of powder coating. I spent almost 75 there and it was the worst 75 dollars I ever Spent on Food. Its sad that Freddy's, five guys, wendys, and even Steak and shake have fresh never frozen hamburgers. This Place is a total rip off. I mean the Chicken Tenders come right out of a freezer. I guess it would be okay but I have had better chicken tenders at walmart deli or Chesters truck stop chicken. Please read my other reviews and you will see that I hardly ever talk or leave a bad review. This place not only left a nasty taste in my mouth but I went to bed hungry after my wife got sic from the catfish. I don't evan think its real catfish. I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure its swai. IF its real catfish then it had to be prefab catfish and explains why my wife got sick. She got nauseous threw up all night and we Had to leave 2 days early from our camping trip with 3 kids. Has to be the worst experience ever due to food.
MY challenge to the owner or whoever runs the Dairyette is to just post pictures and prove me wrong about YOUR FROZEN PREFAB FOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then I will Take my review Down.
