Walking in, you order right away and then snag any seat you fancy, because the vibe is super chill and down to earth. Tan and his family whip up fresh, made-to-order dishes that range from sweet drunken chicken to fiery Bomb Squad, and if you're unsure, just tell Tan your flavor preferences-he'll craft something legendary just for you. After decades of craving their crispy Ricky chicken, egg rolls that could win awards, and soul-soothing pho, I can attest this is where comfort food meets friendly faces and a whole lot of heart.

I discovered this bustling eatery soon after it opened, and upon a friend's suggestion, I tried the drunken chicken which, while flavorful, leaned towards the sweeter side. The ordering process is quick and straightforward, allowing you to choose your seating and enjoy reasonably priced dishes made fresh by Tan and his family.
