China Village consistently delivers a flavorful journey through authentic Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine, with standout dishes like the delicately mild fish fillets swimming in a fragrant, chili-infused chicken broth that lingers on the palate long after the last spoonful. The handmade noodles and perfectly cooked meats, from tender cumin lamb to melt-in-your-mouth pork shoulder, showcase the kitchen's skill, though some vegetable sides can feel a bit overpriced for their portion size. Despite occasional service hiccups, the vibrant aromas, generous portions, and comforting classics keep me coming back, especially after a brisk ride along the SF Bay Trail when that unforgettable fish soup is calling my name.
