I love love love their steamed shrimp dumplings and that they have a whole section of steamed dishes. Always well cooked, high quality and the people that work there are super nice.

Been going to King Yen for over 40 years. Always excellent food and service. If you have not had a chance to dine here, you should add it to your "bucket" list.

Finally, a restaurant quiet enough to have a conversation with friends! The food is delicious, and their grilled salmon is divine. (Unfortunately, they are not offering it for take-out during the Covid-19 pandemic). We've been patrons for over 20 years, and nowhere in Berkeley can you get such excellent food at such a reasonable price! The service is also thoughtful and friendly.
