The Brambles was the Best steak house, Bryan Hume owned it just across the street from his ex wife Sylvia's Rigdon Hall (Now Rigdon House) which also had seven-course meals beyond compare. The Frederic Remington sculptures and Tiffany lamps were amazing and the staff awaited close to your table for service the whole time. The only comparable quality of steaks I ever had since in the U.S. was Chef Frank's Morel in Sarasota Florida, and the Daily Grill in Seattle which came pretty close to Heaven.

I LIVED and worked in the Cambria area for 8 years in the 90's. My house was 5 minutes from The Brambles. It was our 'stomping-ground'. Adorable bar, small but nice, private rooms and great food. So sorry it didn't stand the test of time. As life comes back to the area it would be nice to see it open again. Doesn't look possible though. Happy I was one of their best customers.
