I played Avila Beach Golf Course for the first time during a Sublime w/ Rome concert, which caused a couple of holes to be rerouted, but I still enjoyed the challenging layout and beautiful views, especially the narrow fairways and over-the-water shots on the back nine. The greens were a bit patchy and the course is undergoing some management changes, but the vibes were great, the burgers and beers hit the spot, and for the price, it was definitely worth the drive from Fresno-I'll be back to work on my iron shots and enjoy the atmosphere again.

The golf course at Avila Beach offers a unique experience with some challenging greens and stunning ocean views. Despite a minor disruption to our game due to a special event, the overall atmosphere, delicious food, and enjoyable course layout made for a memorable round of golf. I look forward to returning soon and recommend giving this course a chance for a fun and scenic golfing adventure.
