I love grabbing food for my mom in West Fresno; the staff are super friendly and always get my order just right. Their sizzling rice soup packed with veggies, chicken, and shrimp is my favorite, and my mom swears by the chop suey chow mein. The prices are fair, and the portions are generous, making every visit a treat for us both!

I've eaten there a few times and it was good before, but not this last time. First of all, when I ordered an eggplant dish that was $5.55 on the menu, I was told it would be $7.95 because the eggplant was expensive when they bought it. That's more than a 43% increase! I don't know if it's legal to arbitrarily change the printed menu price, but, at the very least, I think it's unethical and a poor business practice. That didn't sit well with me, so I ordered mushroom chow mein instead. It had canned mushrooms and some salty gravy that was awful! I'm Chinese and grew up on good Chinese food, and that wasn't it! Then, when we went up to the counter to pay because the waitress didn't come back to our table after leaving the check, there were employees all around serving food, clearing tables, setting up tables, but no one came to the counter for at least 5 minutes. The restaurant is close to my work, but I don't think I'll ever eat there again.
