El Pescador in Santa Paula offers an amazing combination of fish soup and ceviche, with consistently delicious Mexican seafood dishes and generous portions. The atmosphere is lively, especially on Fridays with live music, and the staff are friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable. Although the oysters were disappointing, everything else I've tried, including the molcajete and margaritas, has been excellent enough to keep me coming back, even from Oxnard.

Waitress couldn't get the order correct even after going over the order a few times . She had a mild attitude when I checked the order (a to go order) I pointed out that there was a side of rice and bean missing. Her response was that doesn't come with rice and beans. I said I know that's why I ordered it separate. She told her boss in Spanish "ha he doesn't understand Spanish" followed by an eye roll. I said well I do understand some Spanish.
