We showed up on a busy Saturday night without a reservation and ended up hanging out at the bar with some cocktails while waiting, where my Amaretto Sour was spot on but my friend's Paloma missed the mark. The jalapeño poppers were a tasty, spicy start, and my NY steak special was cooked perfectly with great flavor, though the sides and salad didn't quite hit the same high note. The live music created a nice vibe, the staff was attentive, and despite a few small hiccups, the overall meal was solid enough that I'm definitely planning to come back for those steaks.

My 10 year old daughter asked if I would take her to kc steakhouse for daddy daughter date night. We arrived on time for our reservation was immediately seated and extremely well taken care of. Service was amazing. We ordered our food and when the order came out it was perfect. The food was so fresh and made by someone who takes pride in the quality of meals sent out of the kitchen. Here's a tip for you. After eating ask about the cobbler it is to die for!!!!!

Went there with friends and family and was truly astounded, with all the atmosphere and good smells I was surprised at how bad the food and service was. We got 2 orders of the seafood alfredo and both had to be sent back and we got 1 refill on drinks in the 3 hours we were there despite repeated requests for more.

We had several other problems ranging from not getting beer we ordered, the food taking over an hour to get to us after we ordered, it's a rather long list.

To make matters worse, when we asked to speak to the manager the first words she said after hearing the problems "Well I'm not lowering your bill any.". I wasn't looking for her to lower the bill, I was looking to get a decent meal. The manager is defensive, and now the next morning I'm feeling sick to my stomach.

This seems to be a classic case of a once good restaurant that slowly went down hill and now survives off of an old reputation.
