The kung pao dish at Chinese Gourmet Express surprised me with its unexpected chicken instead of tofu. Despite the slightly aged appearance of the stir-fried vegetables, the bowl with spring rolls that I ordered for takeout was quite appealing. The restaurant offers a variety of specials at reasonable prices, and the friendly service creates a pleasant dining experience. The ambiance, complete with a big screen showing the World Series, adds to the overall enjoyment of the meal.
