I can't believe I hadn't written about Pastina before, especially since it's right in the neighborhood and always delivers amazing Italian food without any pretentious vibes. Frank and Nancy run the place, and Nancy's warmth really makes the whole experience feel personal and genuine, plus the service is spot-on with attention to detail-you never have to ask for a refill or extra bread. The food is consistently fantastic, whether it's the crisp Caesar salad, piping hot pasta dishes, or the fresh, homemade tomato sauce, and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere makes every visit feel like a special occasion.
