The service was super fast and the food hit all the right notes, especially the crispy, well-seasoned chicken strips and addictively good house fried rice. The gumbo really stole the show with its rich, slow-cooked flavor, and even though the place looks simple, the tasty, comforting food definitely makes it worth a return visit.
