El Alfarero is conveniently nestled at the corner of Union and 8th, making it an accessible location for a quick and satisfying meal. On my visit with Martha and Oscar, I had the opportunity to try their signature pupusas for the first time, opting for the flavorful combination of pork, beans, and cheese in a single pupusa for just $2. While the tamale I ordered didn't quite meet my expectations, the attentive service and made-to-order pupusas made the overall dining experience memorable and worth the brief wait.
