Serving jury duty across the street led me to stumble upon California Pita inside the underground mall at Spring and Main, and their bacon cheeseburger special caught my eye-even if Mediterranean food isn't usually my jam. The burger was decent, fries a bit overdone, but the friendly staff and cozy vibe, complete with a TV, made the wait worthwhile. After trying the lemon chicken, gyro plates, and falafel on other visits, I can say their sauces are addictive, the portions reasonable, and despite a few hit-or-miss moments, it's a solid spot for a quick, tasty lunch in a quirky LA mall setting.

I am currently fulfilling my duty as a juror and recently found myself uncertain about where to dine. There is an underground mall situated at the intersection of Spring and Main that offers limited dining options. Seeking a recommendation, I was directed to California Pita where I tried their cheeseburger special and found it to be both fresh and delicious. The staff at California Pita were friendly and accommodating, making my overall experience enjoyable.
