Despite the frequent long waits and somewhat brisk service, the incredibly fresh fish, generous portions-especially in the sashimi deluxe and lunch specials-and the variety including standout items like spicy tuna, hamachi kama, hotate, amaebi, and even chicken teriyaki keep me coming back for the authentic, high-quality sushi experience that rivals many others in LA.

We stopped here for the first time while we were down in Japantown. The sushi was really, really good. The menu is simple though, no crazy rolls, no soy paper, but the did have hot sake and soup. We'll definitely go back sometime, although there are a few other spots in this area that I'd like to try.
