The tortas ahogadas here remind me of Guadalajara with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. The birria de chivo and chilaquiles are delicious, and the service feels warm and welcoming.

If you're on the hunt for the best sopes and tortas ahogadas, La Perla Tapatia is where it's at. The food reminds me of home, and I can't wait to go back and try more from the menu.
