So, today we discovered that our beloved breakfast spot has shut its doors for good. It's a real bummer - my friend treks all the way from Redondo Beach, and I drive down from San Juan Capistrano, just to find it closed. Despite some mixed reviews, I've always loved popping in for a delicious lunch at this cozy cafe near South Coast Plaza. The tomato basil soup is absolutely killer, especially when paired with a scrumptious chicken pesto sandwich. Plus, their outdoor patio is a lovely spot to soak up the sun, even if the view is just of the parking garage. And those pastries? Huge and heavenly - my family couldn't get enough of the chocolate croissant and raspberry almond croissant. I may have had a little mix-up with my cappuccino order, but the food and service definitely make this place a regular stop for us. Special shout-out to Ryon for making our visit extra memorable - we'll be back for sure!
